The Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture in Sidon and South Lebanon delivered a training for MFIs about Crowdfunding. This training was designed to explore alternative methods for investors to provide capital for entrepreneurs moving beyond traditional loans. Specifically, it focused on crowdfunding strategies, models, advantages, and the process of creating a crowdfunding platform and equipped Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) with tools to conduct due diligence effectively, considering their role in financing entrepreneurs. The training was conducted online by Dr. Lara Macaron through Zoom Platform on October 5 from 12:00 pm till 1:30 pm.
